Probicolon Children + familie is a preparation especially developed for childrens health. It contains lactic acid bacteria and vitamin D, which helps to support the childs immune system as well as growth and bone development. Vitamin B supports the mucous membrane and the intestinal mucosa. A special feature is the human milk oligosaccharide (HMO) 2' - fucosyllactos. The unique substance is also found in breast milk. Darmflora plus kinder + familie contains 3 lactic acid bacteria strains (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidabacterium longum, Bifidabacterium lactis) in a concentration of 6 billion per daily dose, as well as inulin from chicory.

  • The human milk oligosaccharide (HMO)

    2' - fucosyllactose is a special component of the so-called human milk oligosaccharide . They are complete carbohydrates which occur naturally in breast milk. HMO is the key differentiator between breast milk and cow milk. 2' - fucosyllactose is the most recuurent oligosaccharide in breast milk of most women. Breast milk is still the best nutrition for infants compared to other infant foods. Breast feeding has the best results in terms of childrens growth, nutritional condition, immune protection, intestinal flora and long-term development of infants. Therefore attempts are made to narrow the nutritional gap between breast feeding and the first given infant formula, which is mostly based on cow milk. 2' - fucosyllactose is so far rhe most thorough evaluated human milk oligosaccharide. 2' - fucosyllactose occurs natually in breast milk. Therefore it is particularly suitable for children who have not been breastfed.

  • Ingredients

    Inulin 52%, 2' - fucosyllactose (contains dairy components), lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus acudophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis), vitamin B2, vitamin D.

  • Recommended Intake

    Children 1-2 years take 1 measuring daily, 3 years and older take 2 measuring spoons. Adults take 2 measuring spoons daily. The powder can be stirred in e.g. yoghurt, cereals or beverages). However, it should not be mixed with hot drinkds or food.

  • Caution

    Darmflora plus kinder + familie is not suitable for children under the age of one due to the contained HMO. For children under the age of one we recommend Curabiom Baby.
